On the Pinkprint, Nicki Minaj had no problem telling us that she wants some more. Regardless of everything she already has—money, fame, beauty—this diva has no plans of slowing down the promo run for her newest album.
In recent weeks, we’ve gotten the full album, a slew of emotional interviews, performances, and a few cover stories. Now, fans get to see her grace the cover ofRolling Stone magazine. Alongside the cover line “Mad Genius, Manic Diva,” the simple, yet stunning shot shows Nicki sporting a wet tank top with little-to-no expression on her face.
This big move comes days after she released The Pinkprint short film, which stars herself, Willy Monfret and Boris Kodjoe. The 16-minute movie surrounds three songs off her album: “The Crying Game,” “I Lied” and “Grand Piano.” As passionate and intense as that film is, peep another side to Nicki on Rolling Stone.
