Universal Music A&R, who uses the Twitter moniker Jaywan Inc, is not feeling Nicki Minaj's latest album, The Pinkprint, to say the least. The label guy has been blasting the project ever since its release and has ben teasing Onika's fans, especially her homosexual fan base.
In one of his most epic rants, Jaywan called the full-length effort The Sh*t Print and explained that Universal is disappointed with the projected sales at that time. Plus, the imprint regrets giving her the control over her marketing strategy. Pointing out the weak performance of the singles, he suggests the project is considered a flop since the label invested $3 million in it and got back only $2 million.
Meanwhile, according to sources, the LP sold 201,000 copies in its first week on the shelves, which grants Nicki spot #3 on the Billboard chart. That's not so bad after all, given the poor music sales this year in general.
