Beyonce SLAMMED By Animal Rights Activists After Taking Blue Ivy To Meet A Tiger Cub

Beyonce might be having a whale of a time jetsetting around the world on a cutesy family holiday, but animal rights activists are NOT happy with her shenanigans.

It appears as though Bey and her hubby, Jay Z, have fallen into the classic tourist trap of seizing a photo opportunity with wild animals in Thailand, with the couple sharing a photo of themselves and daughter, Blue Ivy, stroking and feeding a tiger cub.

With the ladies of the family bejeweled in gold, you have to admit that it IS a very cute snapshot, however, animal rights campaigners, World animal protection , have blasted Bey and revealed the sinister hidden truth behind the photo.

Wildlife expert, Dr. Jan Schmidt-Burbach explained: "A tiger is not a plaything. Their health and well-being should not be sacrificed for a photo opportunity.

"When you look behind the scenes, holiday snaps like these support an industry that relies on animal cruelty.

“Many tourists unwittingly contribute to the suffering of wild animals like these. They’re simply not aware that their ‘once in a lifetime’ photo means a lifetime of misery for that animal.

“The tigers used for these photos are often crammed into tiny cages or chained to the floor for long periods. They are also forcibly removed from their mothers to be fed artificially by tourists.

"All in all a far cry from their natural lives in the wild. But this sordid side of tourism is conveniently hidden from public view.

“I urge anyone who is thinking about posing with a wild animal to watch World Animal Protection’s video to learn the facts before they book their next holiday.

"Once people know the truth, they can take action to end this cruelty by choosing to see wild animals in the wild where they belong.”

Well. Now we just feel really, really sad.

The 33-year-old hasn't come forward to acknowledge the accusation that she is supporting animal cruelty, but hopefully she was simply none the wiser when she snapped up the chance to have her two-year-old daughter meet a real life tiger.

Either way, here's hoping that something gets done about this inhumane trade - PRONTO.
